Please join Chris Elliott Fund for our annual Brains Matter – Brain Tumor Awareness Fundraiser & Celebration Luncheon. The luncheon, which takes place on May 16th at the iconic Bellevue Club, marks our 3rd annual affair to raise awareness and funds for brain tumor patient support. All proceeds benefit Chris Elliott Fund’s mission to end brain cancer by providing immediate patient access to specialists, advanced treatments, and comprehensive support programs.
Come be inspired and energized by our keynote speaker, David Heyting, who will share his story in the fight against brain cancer after being diagnosed in 2011.
Join us as we honor the late Kathi Goertzen with the 2013 Chris Elliott Fund Inspiration Award. Kathi Goertzen, a longtime and beloved KOMO news anchor, lost her battle with brain cancer in the fall of 2012. During her 14-year battle, Kathi shared her journey and was dedicated to helping others, launching the Kathi Goertzen Foundation in 2011.
Jim Dever, reporter and host for King 5’s Evening Magazine, will be on hand as the master of ceremonies of the auction portion of the luncheon. Chris Elliott Fund’s goal is to raise $50,000 for patient care, services and expansion of the organization’s Call Center on the Eastside.
